I don't really see remix contests as a competition to try to mix things but and still try to sound like the original but to take a good song and shine a completely different musical light on it. In my opinion Wavedude did a better job of staying true to the song and especially to the genre he mixed it to, forming a beautifully dynamic merger of two opposite and beautiful things.
